TSgt Joshua Copeland, how could this experienced, specially picked officiating crew handle (literally) the same balls for the entire game and not be aware of possible disparities?

realistically 2 lbs per sq in is not that noticeable of a difference to human touch (or so I am told)

TSgt Joshua Copeland, your guess is as good as mine! I don't really have a dog in the hunt (as in favorite team), I just want to see a good game. Now, the broadcasters will spend about half the air time of the entire Super Bowl talking about the deflated footballs and I'm already tired of hearing about it!

First of all, i think 1LT scott doyle is right. The colts had more problems than the football pressure.
That being said, I find it difficult to believe that a team of professional football players thats been playing ball nearly their whole lives couldn't tell something was off with the footballs. Especially a qb and center who both handle the ball almost every snap run or pass.

I woulda agree, but each team is responsible for providing balls for their own possessions. So, its conceivable that the colts didnt handle the deflated UNTIL they had the interception, which is when the defender told the ref about the deflated balls
