This is a great documentary on a Chaplain and what he and the Soldiers he ministered to experienced in Afghanistan.
"“There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends” John 15:13
Chaplain Justin David Roberts, is stationed in Germany with his family. However,
he conceals a struggle with depression and PTSD, due to his previous deployment in
Afghanistan. He contemplates what kind of father and husband he could be without
these issues. Seeking a solution, Justin returns home to the states and reconnects with
soldiers from his unit. The 101st Airborne Division, 2/327th Infantry Battalion, better
known as “No Slack”, has a proud history.

That's my old unit. I was there when Chaplin Roberts was there. Great man.

The chaplain on my ship was one of those souls that just radiated peace, in a manner that I've never seen duplicated in other religious leaders, and I'm not in any way religious. He was an older black man (I guess he joined at an advanced age), and to this day I don't think I've ever met anyone more wise. I saw whole compartments fall still when he was talking, even outside of church services. He had the unfortunate job of telling me that my brother died.
