From what I see going on here I have no clue if these people are really looking for an answer. Is this just some internet water cooler where you talk about something just to avoid work? Does anyone really want to know about half of the random stuff that is on here? I don't like wasting time. I see a lot of it here. Why is anyone asking most of these questions? There are some good questions here that I like to read but who cares if you notices a leaf while you were walking outside today. I am just waiting for someone to ask that. If someone does I might go ballistic.

Welcome to the club sir. I use to participate pretty regularly on here but, shit just got ridiculous and I had to bounce. Pop in here and there if I see something interesting or to make fun of something not so interesting. I did see this really cool leaf blowing down the road today though...

Id agree with some of the questions, but sometimes its just nice to talk to people that have walked in our shoes. I get so tired of the Non-Servers talking crap that they know less than zero about. Burns me up to hear someone that never served offering opinions about the military or Iraq or Iran. Makes me recall ole jack's line. "pick up a weapon and stand a post, either way I dont give a damn about what you think or want" May not be exact but I'm sure you all know the line. I just hate hearing from people that dont know the joys of Boot Camp, or long at sea periods with no mail, no internet, no DVD's or CD's. Back during the snail mail days. Oh well. I vented. I do like talking on here with fellow vets. Keeps me sane.

CSM (Join to see) looking down the road a few clicks, there will be fundamental changes to RP. In the meantime admins like PV2 (Join to see) are able to change tags, merge and change topics so they only appear on the feeds of the tagged topics.

PV2 (Join to see) - I might just take up the mantle of being Kims unofficial rep here on RP. I can't say I have seen even one post about her yet.

CPT Russell Pitre - As one of the User Admins, I fully agree with what you are saying and rest easy knowing that LTC Yinon Weiss and the rest of the team is watching things very closely.

You are right in saying that the good information posts are being over shadowed by some of the more ridiculous ones. The forum isn't meant to be your status update; it is intended to the a place to freely ask your question and hopefully get the correct answer pretty quickly.

I will tell you this much, if I see a post like the leaf example you used, I personally will remove it as quickly as I see it.

SSG Carlos Madden - I'm thinking we are going to be due for a refresher post on what the forums are designed to do and their intent here on RallyPoint. I would hate to see the community lose an asset like CPT Russell Pitre.

SGT Ben Keen - I wouldn't use the term like asset for a person such as myself. Maybe, a High Value Individual. If things go sour I might be a High Value Target.

CPT Russell Pitre Since you asked, if the toenails on my left foot are longer than on my right, does that mean that America is doomed to become a Socialist State?

You make a great point but I think it is negated if your right shoe lace is longer.
