So I got to fill up with gas today. The weather changed, so of course, I had to ask for help with my gas cap. A guy sees my Military Baseball Cap and comes right over from his Hummer. Turns out, he retired after 22 years as a Mechanic. When he got out, he bought two old Hummers at Auction.
Then he restored them to this condition. (This is just one of them, the other is just as pristine!)
I asked him why he drove an actual Hummer. He made me laugh when he said:
"I am a Mechanic. I was my whole career. But I only worked on three vehicles - the Hummer, the Bradley and Jeeps. So I only know how to fix everything on a Hummer. Plus people never pull road rage stunts on me...figuring if I got one of these, I am fully loaded inside too."
Veterans never cease to amaze me...and man was that thing pretty.

The Bradley was after my time...APC's were all the rage back in my day. What is a Bradley like?
