Do I need my husbands BC in order to ship to meps? My recruiter says I do but my husband is AD Air Force and I didn't have to give my last recruiter his BC. I have been to meps several times through my old recruiter and never had an issue with this. I've had a baby since then and he has her birth certificate but says I need my husbands before I can get a date to go. Is this true?

You need to elucidate your problem. It's not clear, at the moment.

SGM Erik Marquez - Don't feel bad. I looked it up too. I figured that I knew what it mean from the context it was used in but had to verify it with Google.

A1C (Join to see) - I have no idea why a recruiter would need his BC. However, it seems like a really small problem to have. Just give it to them. No skin off your nose.

A1C (Join to see) End of the day, you need it, if the recruiter says you need it...
Short of finding an AF reg, policy, instruction that says otherwise AND the station commander agrees with you.... your going to need the document to satisfy what is required, in reality or perception.
As you really should have the BC anyway, Id suggest fast tracking getting a copy and kill two birds with one stone...

Just do it. Get a certified copy from the Vital Statistics Bureau where he was born. Simple fix, better than resisting.
