Does a prior service applicant have a good selection of MOS choices when joining the Army?

I know it is mainly based off of the needs of the Army and all that. But would I have a good selection of choices or would it be alot less due to the fact that I have previously served in the Navy for 5 years? Also, how would the duty station selection work?

Since you're an E4, you will have a lot more options. If you haven't done so already, check out armyreenlistment.com and look under prior business rules. It'll tell you your options. But as you know, it does to an extent come down to needs of the army. Duty station choice won't be a thing. You will have to go back through basic again and then your AIT.
