Which Academy are you going to? I am the commandant of Maneuver SLC in Fort Benning and there is no 11B SLC, it is currently merged with infantry and armor focus. I will be able to provide more once you let me know where you are going.

SSG (Join to see) I did a brief search at the source webpage. The title of the course is now "Maneuver Senior Leader Course" as CSM Eric Olsen points out.

When I went to school at Fort Benning and was assigned there [1979 to 1989] it was the home of the infantry. Now it is:
1. the Maneuver Center of Excellence within TRADOC focused on the maneuver branches [Infantry, Armor, Cavalry].
2. As well as home to FORSCOM and USASOC units.

I recommend that you "call the M-SLC Operations NCO at: DSN 835-0226/0227 or Commercial [login to see] ." He should be able to answer your questions.

Here is a sample of a memo you may have received:
ATZB-NCM 9 March 2018
MEMORANDUM FOR Incoming Maneuver Senior Leader Course Students
SUBJECT: Welcome from the M-SLC Branch Chief
1. Congratulations on your selection to attend M-SLC. You have demonstrated to your
subordinates, peers, and superiors that you possess the qualities and attributes of a
Platoon Sergeant.
2. The purpose of the Maneuver Senior Leader Course is to educate Infantry and Armor
NCOs to be adaptive leaders, critical and creative thinkers, armed with the technical,
tactical, administrative, and logistical skills necessary to serve successfully at the
platoon and company level. NCOs leave prepared with a principle understanding of the
duties of a platoon sergeant and a battle staff NCO.
3. Maneuver Senior Leaders Course (M-SLC) is a 7-week course, consisting of
approximately 289 hours of Small Group Instruction (SGI). Combining the CMF11 and
CMF19 in the same learning environment.
4. You will find the course to be challenging and very rewarding. The curriculum is
demanding and constantly updated due to the evolving and full range of military
operations and spectrums of conflict in support of combatant commanders. The
program of instruction (POI) is updated with current doctrine and technical advances
through student feedback from recent experiences through operations in Afghanistan,
Iraq and other areas of conflict. Therefore, the sharing of your experiences and
knowledge of current TTP’s will open many discussions within your small groups,
enhancing the readiness of our Noncommissioned Officer Corps.
5. We understand the pressure that this course puts upon the Students. I am committed
to doing everything within my realm of control to ensure you successfully complete this
course. This memorandum, and the documents that accompany it, will provide you with
valuable information required prior to your arrival. Please read this memorandum and
the accompanying documents carefully. Normally, the information included will
sufficiently answer any of your questions. However, if after carefully reviewing these
documents, you have additional questions feel free to call the M-SLC Operations NCO
at: DSN 835-0226/0227 or Commercial [login to see] .
Visit the Students Documents Webpage at
https://www.us.army.mil/suite/files/25057422 for pertinent information and necessary
documentation for enrollment.
7. Again, let me take this opportunity to congratulate you on your selection. M-SLC is a
demanding, challenging, and extremely rewarding course. The Henry Caro
Noncommissioned Officer Academy is renowned as one of the finest training facilities
available Army-wide. I am sure you will find the course to be everything you expect and
more. I look forward to officially welcoming you upon your arrival. Godspeed and have a
safe trip.

You are welcome LTC Stephen F.. I love to help our brothers and sisters in arms. However, when I have no information or good info, I like to make sure I get them to others who can.

It is my belief that this is what makes RP stand out among all other social media sites.
