Bio
During college I worked as a Chef, then in the field of nutrition. After that I joined the Army as an Infantryman, and later switched to Military Intelligence before getting out due to a back injury incurred during training. Since then I've taken my self-taught developer skills and worked as a Business Intelligence Analyst for a market research firm. Now I'm working on my own tech startup!

Trainee
During my time at Parris Island, two screws snapped inside my ankle a couple of weeks before graduation (I had a waiver for the hardware). The doctors in Beaufort, SC gave me the choice of getting surgery and staying at Parris Island for an additional 12 months, or going home. Anyone that's been through USMC Boot will no doubt understand why I opted to go home! Hell on Earth, but it's one experience that's helped make me the person I am today.
