Rob Humphrey is the Director of Human Resources & Administration for Travis County Emergency Services District No. 2. He is a retired U.S. Army Colonel with almost 35 years of military service. Rob entered public service as an Army enlistee serving in Korea. After initial active-duty, he completed his undergraduate degree, was commissioned an Army officer and served in Germany. He has held key military assignments as HR Manager, Company Commander, Assistant Professor of Military Science, Installation Deputy Commander (Assistant City Manager), Comptroller, Pentagon Policy Advisor and Chief HR Officer. He served a tour of combat throughout Iraq and Afghanistan. His civilian employment has included HR Director, CIO, and Operations Director for a leading manufacturer.
