After graduation I attended North Iowa Area Community College in Mason City Iowa receiving an Associate Degree. Started working at John Deere, retiring in 1997. Returned to college at University of Northern Iowa graduating with a BA Degree in Political Science and minor in International Studies. I later received a Master's Degree in National Security Studies with American Military University. I am currently enrolled in a PhD. program at Walden University.Public Policy and Administration, Terrorism, Mediation, and Peace.. .I also enlisted in USAF in 1973 for four years then transferring to the Iowa Air National Guard retiring a Master Sergeant in 2005 with 32 years combined USAF/IANG service. I have been on several deployments over the years, continental United States and worldwide. I am married with four children all are all grown up,
