Executed duties as Camp Leatherneck Guard Chief, organizing the physical security of the largest U.S. military installation in Southern Afghanistan. Trained and mentored a detachment of 180 Marines on rules of engagement, escalation of force in order to comply with U.S. strategic initiatives. Awarded (1) Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal.

Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Afghanistan

Executed duties as 11th Marine's Civil Affairs Team Chief during Operation Moshtarak. Advised strategic level planning with British Government Provincial Reconstruction Teams, United States Department of Agriculture, United States Department of State, and several Non-Government Organizations. Awarded (1) Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
