I served on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps for 22 years and retired in September 2013. While on active duty, my primary duties were engineering communications and IT systems, leading cross functional teams of Marines to execute the installation, operation, and maintenance of those systems. I worked at IBM for almost 3 years and now work for Booz Allen Hamilton in Norfolk, VA. After retiring from the Marine Corps, I joined IBM as a technical lead in the IT Infrastructure field. My duties included hosting physical and virtual server and database environments for NAVSEA’s shipyard maintenance application development and test efforts. I now work for Booz Allen Hamilton as an IT Project/Program Manager in Norfolk, VA.
