Senate Democrats block pro-Israel, anti-BDS bill for second time in a week

MSG (Join to see) - I know that. So, if the GOP wants to actually run the Senate, they could change the rules. But it appears they don't want to risk that.
Bottom line is, if a bill does not get through the Senate, the blame lies on the GOP.

MSG Stan Hutchison - Wrong. The Democrats in the Senate specifically stated they were going to block any bill that doesn't involve one sent from the House regarding the shutdown. The bill involving Israel is the first high profile bill that the Democrats have blocked since the shutdown.
The House continues to pass bills that have little chance of being passed by the Senate and zero chance to overcome a Veto. The Democrats are playing games, everyone is aware of it, they just prefer to spite Trump rather than pass meaningful bills.

And please, let's not point fingers. The GOP played political games for most of the previous 8 years.

MSG Stan Hutchison - It does no good to pass a bill when you know it isn't going anywhere. It has the same effect as peeing in a swimming pool, you may have a good feeling about it but no one else notices.
As for the past 8 years, you seem to forget that the Democrats controlled the Senate until 2014 and the House until 2012.
