I would agree if I had not seen firsthand what magical effect Marine Corps dress blues has on women. An ugly dude can make some connections rocking some Dress Blues.

The one you will get when you have been in the Navy a couple years. I do not recommend getting married or proposing when you first start in the military. you are barely now beginning to gain an appreciation for military life. I am only saying this because I have seen so many younger soldiers do the same thing. Unfortunately many of them have failed. We have an extremely high divorce rate in the military. Getting married when you first join the military is one of the reasons that contribute to this.

While I was in AIT (enlisted) I saw a couple marry that were in my class. The female was previously engaged to a guy in Basic, and dumped him for a guy in Intel School. I just thought at the time, some day on day, that kid dumped in Basic will realize he's one lucky son of a bitch.

CPT (Join to see) - He was. The worst case I have seen was in NC. In NC you have to be separated for a year before you can divorce. He got married and in their first month she wanted a divorce. She was going to get spousal support, basically getting paid, for a year when she was married for less than a month.

I vote for the Navy equivalent of Service Uniform. Make sure the establishment and your behavior is appropriate to the uniform. Should make a great picture for your eventual grand kids.
