I have spoken toany about this. They refuse to understand that there was a time when our government was paid for through import and export only. Education, it's important.

Ironically this was also around the time that we started having free high school and the department of education. Hmmmm I'm sure that doesn't have anything to do with all of this.

Actually, cities, counties and States funded the education for their citizens. When the Federal Government became involved in controlling the funding for schools is when education began It's decline. IMHO
