WOW. This guy is NOT a preacher. Not a Christian one anyway. I don't even know what that was but it wasn't a sermon. Now, a Bible verse was read at the beginning, yes. Why? Who knows. This guy didn't reference it once in his entire talk. He simply told people to "resist" and to actively protest stuff.
This guy is a wolf in sheep's clothing and he is leading people astray. Unfortunately, this kind of crap is being "preached" from pulpits all over our nation. To the extent that when someone these days claims to be a Christian, you have to find out what that really means.
Oh, one other thing, he did mention Jesus, albeit erroneously. He said the Romans killed Jesus because they saw Him as a political threat. Huh? In Luke 23 Pilate, the Roman governor who killed Jesus said “I find no guilt in this man.” (v. 4). "And after examining him before you, behold, I did not find this man guilty of any of your charges against him. Neither did Herod, for he sent him back to us. Look, nothing deserving death has been done by him. (vv 14-15). And, "A third time he said to them, “Why? What evil has he done? I have found in him no guilt deserving death. (v. 20)." Jesus was killed because the Jews wanted Him dead. Not the Romans.
I'm starting to wonder if Mr. Sandlin has even read his Bible and if he even cares.
