We don't need more gun control. The key to ending this crap is self-censorship by the news media.
1) No news coverage, EXCEPT law enforcement and Emergency Management public safety announcements the day of the event
2) Do not release the names of the perpetrators in news reports until one year after the event if they die, or upon their conviction if they live.
3) No photo, video, or audio coverage from the scene or from eye witnesses until one month after the event.
4) No speculation as to motive until one year after the event if they die, or upon their conviction if they live.
Until then, we are Romans bitching about the brutality of the gladiatorial games, while we run to get good seats in the Coliseum.
