There's controversy and then there's crisis. Most of the topics are controversial because part of the population believes there's a crisis and the other part doesn't. A 90% chance that climate change is caused by human activity? Sure, if you believe broken computer models being fed suspect data. Gun violence? Absolutely, there is violence but I have never seen or heard of any caused by a gun. Then there is the hush up of all stories relating to guns being used by law abiding citizens to prevent violence while, in England, home invasions have occurred with increasing frequency ever since its citizens were disarmed. Isn't home invasion an act of violence? Black lives matter? Hell yes, they do. However, don't all lives matter? (Watch how I get slammed for saying that!) I could go on but I suspect I've already stirred this pot sufficiently.

Every time I've seen someone not black get "slammed" for saying "don't all lives matter?", it comes down to two extreme points of view:
The movement is about police brutality against blacks.
- Sometimes tainted into whites versus blacks / racism
VS.
If Black lives mattered, why don't blacks stop killing so many blacks.
Let's be real. Both sides have a legit stand. However, both have to be worked on at once, not one by one. But as long as there's enough people too quick to scream racism anytime there's an issue between someone black and someone white, and there's the black community's "Crabs in a bucket" mentality looming, the argument will continue. Hell, maybe we'll go back to segregation. Doesn't bother me. I like to travel.
Crap. . .forgot to "slam".
. . .
I don't like your mustache. . .
Because I can't grow one.
HA!

SGT (Join to see) - I first grew my mustache while in the Army and my major complained that I was only setting an example that everyone else was going to follow. He was correct. Sadly, most of the younger guys hadn't yet fully developed beards and struggled to "keep up". Some even used mascara to cheat. One day while the major was attempting to convince me to shave it off, a passing lieutenant agreed and the major beamed until the LT completed his thought: "Yes, captain, you should shave it off, then let your nasal hairs grow and comb them into a mustache. Whenever the major sees you, just snuff it up." The major was not pleased...

CPT Jack Durish - That image will be in my head all day. That's hilarious, though.
