The Department of Justice shot off a letter Wednesday night challenging Missouri Gov. Mike Parson’s decision to sign his state’s Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA) into law on June 12.
The law prohibits Missouri law enforcement officers from enforcing federal gun laws or regulations. The DOJ’s letter, signed by acting Assistant Attorney General Brian Boynton, claims that SAPA threatens public safety and violates the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution.
He followed up with this statement: “Breaking: Missouri will fight any attempts from the federal government to encroach on Missourians’ Second Amendment rights.”
He added, “What part of ‘Shall not be infringed’ does #JoeBiden not understand. #2A”

But states have to enforce federal laws! Marijuana is illegal and illegal aliens are illegal! We all know every state does not allow mary jane and illegal aliens, it is against federal law so it is verboten.
Fedzilla has peed on its feet one too many times. The laws that have been made and agencies that have been created have been selectively and inconsistently enforcing laws. If scotus says that the fed cannot force states to follow and apply immigration law, what makes them think this has a snowballs chance in heck to work?

In spite of the Feds pissing and moaning about illegal-alien "sanctuaries", they haven't been able to do anything about them, nor have they been able to do anything about the States that have legalized marijuana.

SGT Steve McFarland I know. If and when these 2a issues go before the scotus, I have a sneaking suspicion they will ignore the drugs and immigration issues and say that the states must enforce all federal laws in regards to the 2a.

Were shy of states to call for convention of states. Its required to have 34 or 2/3rd of the 50 states. At present we have 15 states have passed resolution for convention of states. Georgia, Alaska, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Indiana, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arizona, North Dakota, Texas, Missouri, Arkansas, Utah, and Mississippi. This information dates back to Mar 21, 2018. More may have been added since then.

I always thought this a dangerous thing to do in todays climate. I don't trust that this will not get out of hand and I've heard all the arguments and still stand by that.
