Manners? How quaint. Manners can only be taught by parents. Today's "parents" prefer to be friends to their children. And their children's friends too.

C'mon, Jack? I don't know who's older, but you and I were raised by dozens of parents!!! Some were called neighbors, some were aunts and uncles, so were just Joes in that cafe or the corner grocery. I remember a janitor in my 1870 schoolhouse in 1959, who took a very participatory role in my upbringing. So did the teacher and the principal, one Miss Ollie Clattebuck. My Dad got what was left!!!
