CPT Jack Durish technology certainly helped give credence to the futuristic commentary of what had arrived in 2020. It is what it is and perspective cannot change that.

Hindsight is just a tool which ensures we don't repeat destructive ideas. Unfortunately, some people do not posses the ability to use hindsight productively. For example, appeasement has never worked, but some still believe that appeasing a bully on the global stage will somehow make them nice.
