Reports: Marine vet Amir Hekmati among four U.S. citizens released by Iran
Update: A source close to Iran's judiciary is telling The Associated Press that four Iranian-Americans have been freed from prison in Iran: Washington Post bureau chief Jason Rezaian as well as Amir Hekmati, Saeed Abedini and Siamak Namazi. The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media, said the four were freed Saturday in exchange for the release of seven Iranians held in U.S. prisons. He didn't name the Iranians but said the seven have already arrived in Tehran. He says "authorities at the top had agreed to free the four Iranian-Americans only after the Iranian prisoners land in Tehran."

I am glad they are free. It cost us 7 Iranian prisoners and 37.5 billion per released American. Pretty good deal for Iran.

SGT (Join to see) . No one is worthy 37 billion and our national security. It now sounds like the Obama administration might have been contemplating targeted sanctions on Iran for their multiple violations over the last month or so. They canned them as not to interfere with the prisoner swap and the 150 billion going to Iran. A bad deal for the USA and another capitulation to Iran by Obama.
I am glad they are free but that was another bad deal for the U.S.

That is great news SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. I read about it earlier this morning. I am very thankful that Pastor Saeed Abedini was also released. Thank you for letting me know SGT (Join to see). I hope they will release any other dual-citizen Christians they are holding.
I well remember learning about Desert One in 1979 which was the attempt to free the American diplomats held by Iran following the Iranian revolution. I was a senior [Firstie] at West Point at the time.
They well remember that incident and their leaders and mullahs have called us the Great Satan since then.
I look forward to a POTUS with sinews of iron similar to Ronald Reagan.

LTC Stephen F., The report I saw was that he is one of the ones released. According to Iran, all of the prisoners have been released. Praise God, our God.

SGT (Join to see) - Thant is wonderful news that Pastor Saeed Abedini has been released after so much time. So many people have been praying for his release. I have been praying that God's light shine through believers in prison to guards, other prisoners and visiting family members for a long time. Praise God the triune God of Father, eternal Son and Holy Spirit.
