A fast-track discharge upon request for sexual assault victims and a new app that will assist in reporting of sexual harassment and assault are among a handful of new initiatives the Navy is pursuing to crack down on the crime and support survivors.

Maybe not. All someone has to do is cry SA and people immediately respond in kind - whether substantiated or groundless accusations. I see folks using this as a way out now. By keeping it restricted - they won't ruin another career and will get what they want.

That was my first thought. I have a dear friend who had a bright and shining career ahead of him. One false accusation made by an E1 who simply wanted a transfer completely ruined him. He lost his house, his family, and his future with the military.
