I concur with you Sgt Jay Jones. GEN David Petraeus has paid dearly for his indiscretions. His family has suffered, respect and admiration for the many good things he accomplished has suffered and he has seemed to do his best since then to behave well in all areas.

The man has already been punished. Case closed. Even the tyranny of military justice should preclude double-jeopardy. (Of course I don't believe justice has anything to do with this situation any more. IMHO it's purely politically driven)

Leave the General alone in my opinion. There have been worst and bigger scandals and no one in those instances were held accountable, Benghazi/Hilary Clinton/Mrs. Pelosi/Sen John McCain/The VA/SECDEF Rumsfield/VP Cheney and the list goes on. So to start now to hold Gen Petraeus accountable for a minor indiscretion IMHO, stinks to high heaven of hypocrisy.

Think about this, General Petraeus has the goods on someone, IMHO he has been blackmailed and forced into a situation, now 4 years + later they are going to come up with this BS. This sec defense does not even qualify to shine his shoes.
