I personally looked for one that was the most affordable to me, in other words more money went into my pocket versus toward the degree.

SSG Audwin Scott, Picking a college that is within your budget, is something that most people should do, instead of racking up all of those college loans.

From my experience, go to a University that has a football team. I have a Masters from ERAU and since most employers have not heard of it, it gets lumped into the same bin as the for profit online colleges like UoP

For me, I looked for schools that had options for veterans. That were pro veteran or military but not in a over the top way. I started my college at pikes peak community college then transferred to University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. It was good to be around fellow veterans those first 2 years. They also had good disabled veteran stuff going on. In all honesty, go where you feel comfortable and definitely a sense of where you belong. You don't like the school, you can always transfer.
