MGySgt James Forward, you might be interested to know that one of RP's own, 1LT (Join to see), was one of those 13 women! She was 3rd of 68 on the Order of Merit List, was on the Commandant's List, and had the highest extended APFT score (399) in the class. She's pictured dead center in the photo.

Congratulations 1LT Emily Lilly (Meza), I have adopted you. So send me a message and I will always see to it that you get CARE packages down range.

Just because these women have graduated from the course does not make it a good idea to put them in this role. Gender norming will be catastrophic for the mission. Although many service academy graduates are eagerly seeking the opportunity to serve in combat because it is the path to star rank and because they think it is what they have been trained for at the academies, these women are in the vast minority. I would have liked to fly in combat when I was a young Air Force Captain. The fact that coed aircrews are no a fact of life does not mean it is without problems.
