There is a video embedded in this link that will tear at your heart. Watching it, I can only thank God that my wife and I have each other to cling to without walls or glass preventing our touch. Sadly, the election and its associated social turmoil has fractured the lines of communication with the rest of the family. We are left with nothing but hope, hope for better times ahead unless the purveyors of strife rise to power and they drive even more wedges between us.

It is very heart breaking. My mom had a stroke and went into the hospital in late March. She was in ICU and step down. Because of COVID-19 we could not see her. She was eventually transported to a rehab hospital and still no visitors. After more than 4 months, she was finally able to come home. Very tough on the family.
