Very cool, reminds me of the GI Writing project. I have often wondered that some of the first and grittiest and raw combat books from WWII Combat Vets were those vets trying to cope and come to terms with what they experienced in the War. Their emotions were still very raw after they came back from the war, and therefore some of their accounts were some of the most vivid and colorful, to emerge from the WWII vets, undimmed by hazy memory, nostalgia or years of interpretation. Kind of like War Vomit.
