Did you know the men who stand guard outside Buckingham Palace and certain other royal palaces are in fact some of the best-trained soldiers in the British army? Those known as "foot guards" and "house calvary" depending on if they are mounted or not. They are the senior infantry regiments in the British Army. "These guards are some of the best trained soldiers in the world."

I believe you , for them to have the discipline to do what they do stands alone in itself. Standing for long periods of time is serious.

Better Yet, in 2008 while at Kandahar there were a team of Brits that accompanied a British soldier, all sat together in the mess hall while other stayed out side and guarded their vehicles, their vehicles were all non door opened vehicles. I was embarrassed when we compared vehicles.
