The security clearance system for our nation is broken and desperately needs fixing. Here is hoping that the powers that be see this need and fix it promptly!

It does take entirely too long, sir. I think that the past crimes committed by people that had been cleared, such as the active shooter at the Norfolk shipyard, indicate that a reevaluation of the process for granting clearances be done. I guess it comes down to money.
