Nice. I appreciate the European Countries that support us, but I must say glowing words about the Netherlands. In the Netherlands 8,291 soldiers and mostly young soldiers were buried in the country of the Netherlands due to WWII. Every damn grave has been adopted by a Dutch family to bring our boys into their lives because they had immense gratitude for their sacrifices. Our boys are in their history, in their culture, in their lives and that is the best they can do.

It is almost as if I am fueled by beauty of the world, the tenderness, things that move me to perhaps make my eyes tear up. I have changed probably because I am retired. I am no longer in the rat race. I focus on what I want to focus on. I tend to drill down on what is like a simple topics like what are the paramount priorities in life like my wife, kids, veterans, country, my macaw Ariel, writing, and military history. It is so simple that it sounds silly and stupid. Of course they should be priorities! But I think I can fairly assume properly that many people forgot the importance of those simple priorities to conduct at minimum proper maintenance.
I am slimming down my priorities and energies and kind of dumbing down, but the irony of dumbing down is I am getting smarter lol. I see life differently now. I know PTSD changed me. I have a lot more compassion and love for those who have PTSD. I like who I am becoming and what new thoughts give me a better understanding of the world and myself. I just want to brag that I enjoy living. lol
