I think that good old common sense should prevail here. God, if they allow guns to the general public, can you just imagine what might and could happen and never mind the liability factor alone! They'll be enough guns around just by the Federal, State and Local Authorities.

With the possibility of a contested convention, I just don't think this is a good idea.

As a clarification, the convention doesn't completely ban guns as the original post indicated. I am sure there will be many guns there. They only ban private citizens from having guns.
