"“Yes, ISIS is evil,” said Elahi. “Islam is not evil. Evil is ignorance. Evil is injustice. Evil is prejudice. Evil is racism.” The definition of evil he gave was rather fascinating — he put the blame on the entire audience for not knowing that Islam is a religion of peace, even though it’s inherently not"....the Imam is right. If we can say Islam is a violent religion, then Christianity shouldn't be far behind. Priests were raping the hell out of little alter-boys. Being raped for decades and we sat on our cans and did nothing for the longest time. The argument could be that those kids aren't dead. Well define dead. No one knows how those kids were affected, and no one know how many died through suicide from the events carried out by Priests who just so happened to be a "middle man" to the common folk from God. Cheap ploy to again stir the coals where "My religion preaches this, and yours is that". Maybe the pastor should look up turning the other cheek and forgiveness.

All religions in the world today started on the basis of peace and love for each other. As soon as the "human" leadership began to see they had power and influence over others including the leaders of the society they lived in, these "movements" became religions. If you do not believe in my spirituality, then you are wrong and usually an enemy. No war in history and today started because of the "real reason" being known - the agressor wanted the resources and possessions of the target society - NOT because they believed something different from the agressor.

Mahatma Gandhi said best I believe: "I like your Christ. I don't like your Christians. They are so unlike your Christ."

So give up the "greed and power" and no one will have any problems with anyone.

You are correct, CPO Terry Earthwind Nichols, greed and power has been responsible for many a conflict. You have it, I want it, so I am going to take it. It is a shame that Christians don't follow the word of Christ and live in a Christ like manner. The hypocrisy of this world and it's leaders is infectious!
