In the military we're expected to handle things in a professional manner where there is a paperwork trail that could lead folks into complying or send them home packing. Would a return to this be the answer? I remember when I was younger my NCO's SSG and above mentioned how when they were privates and junior NCO's this is how they handle it. With some of the touchy feely folks in the military now could we handle thi?

Hahaha. So true. We had our "Problem's cage" in the back of the motor pool inside a clamshell storage building, 1998-2000 Ft. Hood. What happened in the cage, stayed in the cage. No questions or discussions. Rank immaterial. What would I give to bring it back!

Problems-Cage eh? I was at Hood 98-00, I bet it was effective. Definitely old Army stuff.

MAJ (Join to see) - Yes Sir it was. The real only Article 15s that happened were big stuff that got out the company. Let's not forget the hot pavement and trying to do push-ups. People got blisters from that so we had to carry gloves in our cargo pockets. LOL.

SFC Randy Purham I DO remember the hot pavement, I heard there were some days NCOs were forbidden from telling SM's to do pushups on the pavement due to the heat, but I don't know if that was true or not.

MAJ (Join to see) - Yes sir that was true. I knew an E5 got busted back to E4 for forcing a Soldier to do push-ups on the pavement in the summer after the order from III Corps was given. He expressed that he didn't care about a policy when it came to corrective action on Soldiers. He paid the price I suppose. That same Soldier ended up making SGT while he was still E4 a year later LOL.

SSG Warren Swan the problem with this starts with the end of the first scenario. We fought, beat each other's ass, now we shake hands, fix our uniforms, and go get shit done. Nowadays people are so soft that even if the wood line attitude adjustment occurred, it would just lead to more problems. Great video. Thanks for sharing.

Depends on the unit but I doubt it. Too many people in the Chain of Command and NCO support channel career on the line. Paper trail is always a lurking factor.
