Please do not attempt to tell me that Daesh is a group of idealistic and religious people who are struggling to support Islam and to return the world to a true Islamic state.

I don't doubt that ISIS is sincere, or at least most of them. They are sincerely wrong.

SSgt Ed Gamble - Staff; The leadership of Daesh has always been more interested in personal wealth and power than it has been in anything else.
In order to achieve that personal wealth and power, the leadership of Daesh is willing to say and do anything that they can sell in order to recruit more of the "useful idiots" who are going to do the actual fighting and dying. If the leadership of Daesh absolutely positively knew that they would be able to increase their personal wealth and power if they "found Jesus" then there would be a huge rash of people being "born again" (but the fighting would continue).
