No kind of Republican I've ever met would vote for her. Absolutely not. Some might sit the election out, I could see that happening, but the revulsion a patriot would feel at actually pushing that button or pulling that lever would be nearly impossible to overcome.

Someone has to vote for her. Bernie backers aren't going to do it

CPT Jack Durish - Captain; I wouldn't have the gold fillings extracted from my teeth to bet on it.

COL Ted Mc - Anyone who bets on this election should keep in mind the wisdom that "A fool and his money are soon parted". There is nothing in history on which to bass any assumptions. No poll is going to help either. They were wrong the last time and they will be right this time only on the basis of luck. I simply am engaging in wild speculation, just like everyone else...

oh yes they will. Sadly many folks in this country would vote for their respective D or R candidate w/o even a real thought. Considering how many Bernie supporters are demanding ever more handouts, they'll vote for the one who promise them the most. So far that's him but they'll vote Hitlery over Trump even if most of his policy "plans" are little different from hers.

A lot of Old School Moderate Republicans have switched over to Democrats like myself. I can see Trump only increasing that shift with his Xenophobic & Misogynistic past discussions with the Press which is already all over You Tube. Of course he will try and walk back all the Evil Crap he spewed to win the Republican Primary. Hopefully Americans will have a longer memory than 6 mos though.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - PO; A "Third Party" has always been a viable option PROVIDED that you ignored the "Don't waste your vote (by voting for a candidate who stands for what you actually want) because either the Democrats or the Republicans are going to win and if you don't vote for the winner then you will be sorry because then the government will ignore you (as if anyone actually knows [or cares] how an individual actually voted)." mantra.

One of the reasons why Radio Moscow produced more "intelligent propaganda" than FOX News does is that the "adverse career progression consequences" for a loss of circulation were much more stringent at Radio Moscow than they are at FOX News.

I suspect that VOA's quality was improved by the facts that [1] (essentially) no one paid any attention to what it was actually doing, and [2] (essentially) the only metric that anyone did pay any attention to was "listener-ship" (and you have to be topical, catchy, and accurate (enough so that you don't get found out within the same 'news cycle') [alternatively "screamingly funny" enough {think "Tokyo Rose", "Lord Haw Haw" and "Hanoi Hannah"] to increase your listening audience.

COL Ted Mc - what would a "old school moderate Repub" have believed in that he would find in the Dem party after no longer finding it w/the Repubs?

SFC Charles Temm - Sergeant; I'm not quite sure what YOUR definition of "old school moderate Repub" is, but I'll take a swing at them finding the desire for "fiscal responsibility" and "incremental social change that retains the best of the old while attempting to incorporate the new" that you will find in the "Left Center" quite attractive.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - "Not a bad option and maybe the time has come for a viable third party."

I'd agree with this, except that there is no such thing as a VIABLE third party. Sad but true.
