Thanks, Chief. But very incomplete, nothing regarding either bridge actions/ inactions.

I think this was mainly the Line of Duty for the investigation. The actual investigation into what happened on the bridge will be forthcoming. I was a DCA and CHENG on that class of ship. While I am utterly sad at the loss of life, I am unbelievably proud how those sailors responded during the absolute worst time. I never had a good night's sleep onboard, as that was the most scary time to me...

Those pictures are pretty graphic. Again, I am amazed at how well the training kicked in at the worst possible time.

I agree - it's stunning that more didn't die. Those that made it out had to do it waking, from sleep, in under a minute. Most people take more time to wake up, period.

SN Greg Wright - One section of the report states how some of the Sailors slept through the initial collision and had to be yanked out of their racks into the water to wake up.

SCPO (Join to see) - Yeah. I just can't even imagine the chaos, even with all the training we do. But it's probably always like that, you don't know what's what until you're in it.

SN Greg Wright - So true... I will say the next report will be bad. That is the one that will talk about how the ships got into the situation that they did...
