SSG Fleming, you seem to be passing along a fear-stoking article from a pretty heated right-wing website. Truth and Action features stories like this and another hysterical fact-free story about President Obama. Check out the tone of this story:
"Barack Obama cares about nothing but his personal, leftist agenda. This has been proved many times over the past few years. From his illegal executive actions on immigration to his recent obsession with transgender bathrooms, Mr. Obama has continuously disregarded the law in order to force his liberal policies onto the American population..."
So I'll grant you there's a lot of passion there! But not a lot of factual information. Your story here has been directly contradicted by the APA. But somehow I expect this story will continue to spread and inflame misinformed citizens. Is that really what you want?

No, you miss the bigger point. There is a movement to lower our moral standard. If you would look at some other the other replies on here, I posted links from other sources that confirm this ideology/thought is growing. I won't say it is fact today... but there is a real movement to push this.

SSG Fleming, thank you for your response. No question there is a wide range of opinion in the US and around the world about issues of social conduct. You say 'a movement to lower our moral standard' and others would say, 'free to have the same rights as other Americans.' LT Bernabei's response above pointed out the key flaw in your original post much better than my response--sexual activity against minors is flat out illegal due to the age of consent! Your 'larger point' comes across as a flawed argument--somehow other people's lawful freedoms is defined by you as lowering our moral standard--and based on a poor reference that misses a basic fact. I understand how strongly you feel about these issues--but you may want to look for references that will represent your beliefs more strongly.

CSM (Join to see) You say Children under 18 years old cannot; consent - however how many children under 18 are sexually active today and consent to having sex; I know I was having consensual sex before the age of 18. I can tell you that most of the kids I knew in school between the ages of 15 - 18 were sexually active both male and female. - whether it is with someone of their age or older consent is consent.
