Audie Murphy was a great role model in both military and regular living. I have watched all his war movies and love his westerns. He died too young!

I remember that movie. It's was a good movie and he was a good actor. It was sad the way it ended but he will be in the history books forever.

For some reason I remember him for one of his earlier films 'The Kid From Texas' about Billy the Kid. I was 9 yrs old when it was released; it made a real impression on me.
