I'm sick and tired of this case dragging on for such a long time. Maybe the reasons for it taking so long will come out, if he goes to trial.
FORT BRAGG, N.C. – Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl is due back in court for a pretrial hearing on the charges he faces after walking off a post in Afghanistan in 2009.
The hearing Thursday is likely to include a discussion of defense efforts to gain access to the correspondence of high-ranking military officials who were in positions of authority when Bergdahl's disappearance unfolded.

We were there in Bagram when this traitor went missing... it was all some of the soldiers talked about while they searched for him worthless ass. It was common knowledge he had not "been captured", but rather had "walked away"....yet still we searched for him.
Do not let anyone fool you, the casualties we suffered searching for him were in part due to the increased traffic and patrols we sent out to try to locate him. Every single soldier injured looking for him was a direct or indirect result of his having snuck off in the middle of the night.
What surprised me was the Presidents verbal up-talk as he was being released, how he was a hero....
Either the President was HORRIBLY misinformed, or he was just being his typical arrogant self feeling he was so much smarter than everyone else around him.
Either way, this traitor (...and his worthless father) deserve whatever can be leveled against him and I hope he spends a very long time in a very dark corner of some long forgotten detention facility where nobody will ever hear him say anything ever again...

As we learned with HRC, he may have done all this stuff but if he just says, "Nope, wasn't me" he walks with back pay.
The delay is designed to let witnesses retire, die, lose credibility etc. Check his basement, his server will be wiped clean.
