The screwed up thing is nobody will never understand that every man and woman go in with the idea they are serving their country for the greater good. We don't start wars but we fight them either based on truth or lie. Rich people start wars they are afraid to fight but profit from off the backs of poor and middle class people who, with good intention, serve their country and end up being shit on by those same people who sip champagne and smoke cigars while laughing as they become more rich off the suffering of two different sets of people who they feel are beneath them. Then one they claim to value their service and patriotism but screw them out of what they earned. They keep us fighting so we can't see that they are the ones screwing us over. They are playing two ends against the middle and what's so bad is that some people can't see it. They're able to pull this off because they've been able to fool people into thinking they care. Truth is any time you see somebody oppose anything that would help many under the guise of religion or unjust blame to justify there actions, watch out because they are getting some benefits from it. The government shutdown for example, why in the hell would they choose to shut down the government instead of working for a plausible outcome? Simple, if you can't buy them, they don't care.

Same argument could be made for sequestration. It was supposed to be a "joke" or "motivation" to get the sides to the table. Three years in.....how has it worked out? I understand we cannot have a large standing military with nothing to do, but how come we can't have a legislator sequestration? The number of missions haven't gone down with the number of people lost, it's increased. How in the hell does that work? Can't fix planes with available parts, but we can strip museum pieces to keep going? I'll give Faux news their due when they talked about the Marines at 29 Palms stripping a museum plane on the Intrepid to meet mission. I'm not a Marine, but that hurt to see how far we've fallen internally. I remember when I rolled out that I was all rah rah lets kick ass and get home. God and Country. Six months in? No rah rah shit. Have to do my job and get these assholes home to mama. If I ever went again, I'd use those lessons to maintain myself and do my job. I love my country, I believe in God, but if I had to choose any of that, I believe in the fact I have to get these guys home alive, and they would be all I worried about.

There’s not too many times in my life I had no words after seeing something; this is one of them.

No, I’m not being politically correct, I am just so stunned by what I see as an attack by this interviewer; I’m at a loss for words. I can’t add anything to the response given except to say God bless him. We need more selfless service like this soldier that are willing to expose BS questions like this for what they are. Thanks for the link, I would not have seen it if you didn’t post it.
