An axe is used in this attack. I think we should start a petition to have permits for all axes throughout the United States. They are big and heavy and sharpened, can harm or kill persons hit by it. They are easily accessible and there is no three day waiting period to buy one. This petition must have some real teeth in it for it to pass. We will be a lot safer if owners are finger printed and pictures are taken, in order for a person to own an axe. If you're stopped by police, be sure to tell them you have an axe in your vehicle and you have a permit for it. Failure to do this may get you shot and killed. Don't let this happen to you. Authorities in the southern German town of Wuerzburg told DPA news agency that the man attacked passengers on a regional train in Bavaria with "blunt and slashing" weapons and several people possibly had life-threatening injuries.

TSgt Joe C. I might be wrong, but it seems like in European countries and the Far East, knives and axes are the main choice of weapon. If that's true, it doesn't matter what weapons are taken away from the public. Another source will be found to commit murder, or mass murders and injuries like this nut job did.
