I can't understand how prosecutor drop the charges if Mr Gray's death was determined to be an homicide by the medical examiner's office...

The charges were dropped against all three police officers, by the Distric Attorney. After that happened, the judge ruled they were free to go. Case over.

It went to trial, the evidence was presented, and they were no convictions. EVERYONE LET IT GO!!!!!! We only see what the prosecutor and the news media wanted us to see. We didn't see all the evidence that was presented and for a judge to dismiss, it had to be there. They say his neck was broken...did he get into a fight prior to getting arrested that damaged his neck or aggravated the situation? Did he have preexisting conditions? WE DON'T KNOW ALL THE EVIDENCE. As a previous commander, when I administered judicial punishment or non judicial punishment or nothing at all, the barracks lawyers ate me up but I was not allowed to discuss the preceedings or the evidence. Same here.

I am all for justice being served if the evidence shows it and if they did it, hang them in times square. However, a decision was made the other way. Pretty soon there will be wrongful death suit filed and I hope it goes quickly.

Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth, If they are no billed, there had to be enough evidence to exonerate the police officers. I'm not that familiar with the exact details. Did the police accidentally break his neck when they put him in the wagon? Was his neck broken because he wasn't shackled, and he was rolling around in the truck? I don't know the details so no way I can pass judgment.
