...and thus President Obama places his judgment above countless others who have long maintained that negotiating with terrorists (paying ransom) is a bad idea. Well, maybe this isn't "ransom". Just a goodwill gesture. Then again, maybe it is ransom but President Obama is right and everybody else is wrong. (Personally, I find it somewhat humorous saying that President Obama is "right")

Middle of the night transfer consisting or Euros and Swiss Francs $400M, same day release of our sailors, the Iran Agreement signed shortly after. We not only paid ransom, but gave a supporter of terrorism additional funding. How many Israel military and civilian will see the results of this payoff to sign the deal? Not to mention our service personnel. Nope, nothing here, keep on moving. If you like your Doctor and medical plan, you can keep them.

There is NO WAY the govt can convince me otherwise. This was either a bribe or a ransom, pure & simple. The excuse that it is reparations for a 70's era deal gone wrong doesn't wash. Didn't we supposedly cut ties with Iran after the revolution ousted the Shaw? I think so.
