SGM Mikel Dawson The purpose for any company is to make money. Many of the Insurance Companies that are participating in the Affordable Care Act are losing their shirts. People are signing up when they need some expensive stuff done, they can't be turned down. Companies are not making enough from those that don't need major medical work to cover those that do. I don't blame them one bit for dropping out of the national or state "marketplace". People that game the system just screw those that are doing the right thing.

It is Yin and Yang, insurance companies in the past gamed the system and denied coverage to the ill just to keep the money.

Not a big surprise, it was destined to fail.

Interesting that Aetna complains about too many sick people signing up when Aetna like other companies denied insurance to many for pre-existing conditions. It is always about making money..
