Kanika Misra While I certainly do not condone sexual assault, and especially by senior military personnel directed at their subordinates or sexual assault of children, what strikes me about this complaint is that, according to the article, it was a "complaint filed earlier this year by a female colonel that her commander had “used his power to coerce sexual contact” three times between April 2007 and April 2009."
So this female colonel was allegedly sexually assaulted between 2007 and 2009 and she decided to file a complaint in 2016 (nine years later). Give me a break... This is not some young kid who did not know how to report it ...
I would have to throw the BS flag on this one...

Could be true. I'm not saying there isn't room for doubt. Just that we don't know. And no I don't offend easily. I've got tough skin and I did seek help, something that she would benefit from. Anyone in her position would. And yes he is innocent until proven guilty but that doesn't make her a liar until proven truthful. None of us have always made the best decisions.

SP5 Christine Conley - All I am saying is that by waiting nine years to report it, she brings doubt on her story. Her story would have been much more credible had she reported it when it occurred or shortly thereafter.
I clearly stated that I did not know what happened. All I said is that the time between the alleged incidents and the time she reported it should be considered in any investigation. One would have to question why, after nine years, she has decided to report it now.
