That is sad news SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL that Explo Systems' conspired to defraud the government and create hazardous conditions because they did not destroy the 7,800 tons of potentially explosive artillery propellant they had been contracted to.
On the other hand, I am glad to learn that "the National Guard hired Explosive Service International of Baton Rouge for $32 million to design a chamber to capture any pollution and to burn the materials [M6 artillery propellant and 160 tons of clean-burning igniter]. Louisiana has paid the Environmental Protection Agency over $1 million to oversee the cleanup."
