As someone who has pursued human interest stories from history I am no longer surprised when a new one pops out of the weeds. They are countless and always fascinating

My Families Relationship to the whole thing is very Unique to say the least. I have roots in all the German Cultures to Include the Lietz Family. Lietz Originally Ashkenazi Jews, Some Converso's (Converts to Catholicism during earlier Progroms). Von Lietz Famous for the German Shepard Dog Breed, Lietz Owner of Lica Camera (German Version of Kodak) was another Schindler.
