The reality is that they are Congress failures. Only Congress can clean up the VA, but when Congress refuses then we need to vote for better representatives; Congress works for US and we should fire them.

SGT Michael Glenn - I'm ready to gut shoot most of them with 22 rounds.
They slowly done a lot of damage..I want them to have plenty of time to contemplate it.
Who knows, perhaps the lord will give them a reduced sentence in purgatory giving credit for time served.

The VA and POTUS Have to Care about the Vets to start with...
Bot put the Vets on the back Burner during this Administration and Put Career Criminal Politicians in Charge of Fixing things...
and How did that work out..."Not Too Good !!!!"

Trouble with liberal progressives is that the only way to fix stupid is to at least get them fixed ....by a vet..vets have no malpractice insurance and if the fix doesn't take them class action lawsuits for potentially propagating an undesirable species shouldn't make any progress in the court system.

I certainly hope the next POTUS has a clear vision for leading this nation which does not rely on government bureaucracy alone to solve this nations myriad problems.
Hopefully the Federal service-union rules will go the way of the dinosaur and civil servants and especially senior executive service "civil servants" who fail to live up their roles will be terminated in a timely fashion after being given a reasonable chance to improve COL Mikel J. Burroughs

I say if they are senior executives that they've damn well had a chance to improve and blew it years ago. Furthermore..like the captain of a naval vessel. The superiors who promoted these jackasses should be held accountable and removed from service or at least demoted both in pay grade and seniority ..retention predicated on extreme improvement and continuous improvement by retraining and hard core evaluation by mixed civilian and military committees with equal numbers..requiring a supermajority to retain..at least in their present capacity these individuals....
Breaking their balls to cause the weaker ones to resign with at least a satisfactory discharge will further thin the ranks.
Nothing I have suggested here is any harsher than normal treatment of executives in private corporate entities. This allows no major dissent or public outcry citing unfair treatment.
