I agree with Thomas Sowell unequivocally when he writes "There is no point denying or sugar-coating the plain fact that the voters this election year face a choice between two of the worst candidates in living memory." Even so, I find my choice very simple. I'll take the amateur politician over the criminal any day. We have no idea how Trump might perform. He might even turn out okay. I'd even accept mediocre compared to Hillary. There is no doubt whatsoever, based on her past performance, that she would use the White House to launder money into her own pockets. The scale of her operation would make her meager attempts (in the millions, maybe a billion or more) paltry compared to the scams she would run as President.

I, too, had an epiphany after returning from overseas, and continue to have them from time to time. HRC is a consummate politician (not a good thing) and bears watching, but DJT is actually mentally unstable to a dangerous degree.

After I posted, I looked into some of your responses to other threads, and only then did I realize that you're already aware of the things I had a strong desire to 'teach' you, and I felt ashamed that I hadn't taken the time to learn about the person I was addressing. I found myself delighted to read the aforementioned posts of yours, and at the same time, horrified that I had judged what I thought your state of mind to be. This is something that will be avoided in the future when commenting on other SM's thoughts and ideas. Thank YOU for being so amicable and professional. You have taught me a valuable lesson about getting to know where another person is coming from before I sound-off. I officially apologize to you for my snap judgements, and I thank you for providing a safe container for me to learn such a valuable lesson in prudence and forethought. I would also like to add that I am deeply grateful for the the meaningful contributions that are generated on RP forums. Service members continue to show me that they are truly of a different caliber than the average citizenry. There is a level of respect that is rarely found in general society, especially so when witnessing disagreement. The members of RP police themselves when one steps out of line. It's a restoration of faith. Again, thank you!
